Hello, and thank you for your interest in working with Sager Games. We operate on revenue share. No one makes money until the games make money. Then we share the revenue with the team. The share you get is roughly in proportion to the hours you worked. Keep your hours clocked, and review your progress for the game often.

Everything revolves around trust. I trust you that you're producing for the game and not clocking empty hours, and you trust me that when the project is done, I will fairly compensate you. I'm more in it for the games made than money to be honest. If I had infinite money, I'd still be doing the same thing of making games.

I ran a revenue share project where the game didn't make enough money before in www.ThroneAndCrown.com. So I did not take any of the money myself, so the other artists and musicians could get compensated more. I took the bust of the project on my own shoulders. I want people to be compensated fairly.

I tried in the past to write up contracts with people on an individual basis. It takes many hours per person, and nine out of ten people do not help at all. I wound up spending days upon days of hours just managing contracts when they produced no work. I'm better off going solo than writing endless contracts for people who do nothing. This is why we have a contract of trust.

If you only work a few hours under this contract, but the game you worked on only a few hours makes money, you still make a small fraction of the revenue as long as the game makes revenue. There is no commitment in this way. You can come on and off a project all you want if you are allowed on board.

This is a very simple contract. We work on games together. If our games make money, we share the money made roughly in relation to how many hours each put into it. It is extremely fair. It is even a lot more fair than most older style contracts. We're trying to build something new. We want people working on video games if they want to be working on video games. If you want on board, email me: [email protected]
